March Madness 1st Round
I combed through the stats and typed them manually in an Excel because i can’t figure out how API Calls and Pivot Tables work. So, i hope there are not too many errors.
Who did i miss? What stands out to you?
AJ Dybantsa (BYU) is the most eye-catching line on the entire sheet — 35 points on 11/25 shooting with 10 rebounds. Even with the volume, those are star numbers. He’s clearly the headliner here, elite scorers sometimes need volume, but shot selection will be scrutinized.
Florida is kinda stacked…
J. Gillespie (Tennessee) put up a monster game — 29 points on 11/21 with 6 threes and 9 rebounds. That’s a complete offensive performance.
Labaron Philon (Alabama) had a very well-rounded line: 29 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists. That versatility is exactly what scouts love.
Cam Boozer (Duke) logged 38 minutes and contributed across the board — 22 points, 13 rebounds, 13 FT attempts shows he’s drawing contact and being aggressive.
N. Ament (Tennessee) played only 18 minutes with 0 points on 0/3 — a rough audition on the big stage.
C. Cenac Jr. (Houston) with 17 defensive rebounds in 27 minutes is a remarkable stat — either a data anomaly or a serious glass-cleaner.
P. Sandfort (Nebraska) hit 7 threes — that shooting stroke on a big stage will get attention.
